NCBC invites you to submit

an abstract to our

 28th Annual Interdisciplinary

Breast Center Conference

The abstract submission process for the 28th Annual Interdisciplinary Breast Center Conference has begun. The goal of the NCBC Abstract Program is to facilitate discussion between representatives of participating centers and to advance knowledge in the field that will be useful to your colleagues. Submitted abstracts fall into one of three categories: Category I: Breast Center Operations, Administration and Programs, Category II: Patient Care and Support, and Category III: Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Management.

Our Abstract Review Committee will review all submissions and notify the primary contact regarding acceptance for poster display at the conference.  A representative of each accepted abstract is expected to be present to discuss their results with conference attendees during the Poster Reception to be held in the evening on Sunday, March 11, 2018.

One abstract of particular interest from each of the three major categories, and up to four abstracts submitted by trainees (highest ranked designated the Fellow/Resident/Student Award recipient), will be selected for oral presentation at the Poster Reception. Category Award winners will receive a $100 monetary prize; the winner of the Fellow/Resident/Student Award will receive a $200 monetary prize and complimentary conference registration.

Submit an Abstract:

To participate, email your abstract (not the poster) and the application to the NCBC office at [email protected] by midnight PST, Monday, December 18, 2017. Faxed abstracts cannot be accepted, and while in past years abstracts submitted within a week after the deadline have often been accepted for presentation and consideration of awards, for the 2018 Conference late submissions will not be accepted.
